In 2019 I was lucky enough to be selected from the thousands of applicants to compete in the 2020 series of BBC One's 'Best Home Cook'. After 8 weeks of gruelling competition and endless 'rustle-ups' I was stunned to be crowned BBC's Best Home Cook by Mary Berry, Angela Hartnett and Chris Bavin.
